Cobham River Lodge is your authentically Canadian fishing lodge. Privately tucked away in the remote Canadian wilderness, our rustic Canada fishing lodge getaway is just a 1-hour flight out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. But, more than a getaway, this is a home away from home in Canada’s great outdoors, where remote living and outstanding service come together to create truly one-of-a-kind experiences beyond expectation. Nature-inspired interiors in earth colors enrich the rooms at Cobham River Lodge. Our Canada fishing lodge is custom designed with handcrafted pine furniture and true Canadian comforts with luxurious down duvets, fine Hudson Bay blankets, and pillows. In keeping with our getaway experience, our guest rooms have no telephones or televisions. However, complimentary WIFI is available throughout the property.
Each morning guests enjoy specialty coffees, teas, and breakfast selections, including classics and more intriguing options from our culinary team. Each evening the dining room is transformed by fine-dining dinner service offering premium steaks, regional specialties, fresh seafood features, and locally sourced produce when available. We provide exquisite dishes to satisfy the most discerning palate yet fulfilling enough to be considered good old-fashioned comfort food.

How’s this, you ask? Cobham River’s fly-in-only lodge is the only lodge for hundreds of water miles, so the only fishermen to fish our Manitoba, Canada waters are the guests of Cobham River Lodge. Our 4-star full American plan lodge only holds a maximum of 16 guests, so we can offer you a superior fishing opportunity to land that trophy Northern Pike or trophy Walleye, more than other Canadian fishing lodges with 400 to 800+ guests per year. Our guests enjoy Manitoba fishing for monster Northern Pike in one of the hundreds of cabbage weed-filled beds the Cobham River offers. What’s impressive to see is that while you’re searching these cabbage weed beds for Monster Pike, it’s not uncommon to hook into a trophy Walleye in the same weed bed.
Even though the Cobham River is known for the numerous trophy Northern Pike and Walleye that are caught and released each year, we still offer you others, such as Perch and Whitefish, that give you their unique challenge to catch.
For the fly-fishers, mid to late June is when you can catch trophy Manitoba Whitefish. Just 100 yards from our dock, you can stand on our sandy point and watch as hundreds of Canadian Whitefish feed on mayflies. This opportunity to catch that trophy Whitefish lasts only a week or so. Also, while fishing for trophy Whitefish, you will notice that many Northern Pike feed on these Whitefish.
This allows you to hook a trophy Northern Pike with your fly rod and, might I say, let the real battle begin! While fishing our fly-in Manitoba waters, trophy Perch can also be found. While not as common as the trophy Northern Pike or trophy Walleye that our Canada fishing lodge is famous for, trophy Perch can be located on the Cobham River, with the largest to date being 15.36 inches and weighing in at 3.6 lbs.

Rates per person are based on a group size of 6 or more guests.
Groups 3-5 add $100.00 per person, and Groups of 2 add $200.00 per person.
Rates do not include applicable taxes and fees, tips, and beverages.
