Fly in Manitoba Fishing Lodge

Manitoba Canada’s fly-in fishing lodge for Northern Pike Fishing

Our northern pike are aggressive, and anglers have landed thousands of giant northern pike.

Why Choose Cobham River?

Our fly-in Manitoba fishing lodge is where you cast your line into the weed beds, chase a grand slam, and hook a 30-pound northern pike. It’s where you fight the line for hours a day and go home with stories they won’t believe.

Cobham River Lodge is isolated in Manitoba’s Canadian wilderness, where you and your group have an unmatched fishing opportunity to fish where no other fisherman has fished before. The result is the fishing trip of a lifetime, with pictures to prove it! We can accommodate any group’s needs, from American Plan Packages to Deluxe Fly-In Outpost Packages.

The Biggest Fish Story of Your Life Begins Here

Boasting an expansive Canadian shoreline, we’ve made our name in northern pike fishing, attracting anglers around the globe.  Add the numerous weed beds, creeks, and hundreds of miles of shoreline; Cobham River Lodge is the ultimate Manitoba fishing lodge for world-class Northern Pike fishing.

Cobham River was built around conservation, and our fly-in fishing program is proud to have released all trophy fish for over 35 years.  The result is 45 to 50+ inch Northern Pike being released every season.

Roughly 150 people get the chance to fish at our Manitoba fishing lodge each year.  Are you one of them?

Join our waiting list for 2025!

If you can’t make it happen in 2024, join our waiting list and get the date and trophy you’re after in 2025.

When you compare other fly-in fishing lodges, you’ll be hard-pressed to hear them mention a waiting list or that they are sold out. The reason is simple: We have the best trophy Northern Pike fishing in Manitoba. While other Manitoba fishing lodges have up to 18 boats firing off the dock each morning, we limit our 76,000 acres to 5 or 6 boats. The result is the best fly-in Northern Pike fishing in Manitoba, but only for a select few. After 45 years in business, this has resulted in “Sold out” and “Join our waiting list” being commonplace.

Get on the list and be one of the boats going out in 2025. We’d love to meet you and your group.

What Makes Cobham River Different?

The result is people have an outstanding trip and return for many years to come. Over 92% of our bookings to our Manitoba fishing lodge are returning guests and referrals. Our staff takes pride in thinking of what you need before you ask for it.

Meals are prepared with the same thought. Our new equipment makes it easy to concentrate on what you came to do: fish. We want you to brag about the fishing and our Manitoba fishing lodge and staff.

You can’t stay in the fly-in fishing business for over 40 years, flying guests to a water system with no fish. Our Manitoba fishing lodge is located on two river systems that provide the best opportunity for huge Northern Pike to feed off an endless supply of Walleye, Perch, and Whitefish.

Our system has 76,000 acres of remote fly-in fishing, hundreds of bays, and hundreds of miles of shoreline, all acting as a one-of-a-kind habitat. With a system like ours, we don’t call it “Fishing”; we call it “Catching.” It is not uncommon for two fishermen to catch and release over 100 fish per day at our Manitoba fishing lodge. We often say you will catch or at least see the biggest Pike of your life on the first day. View our Manitoba Fishing Maps for detailed fishing locations. Or learn more about what makes Trophy Northern Pike and where they live.

One of my most valued childhood memories was when my dad took me fly-in fishing at a Manitoba fishing lodge. We offer your family this same opportunity to build these memories together. To help you start making these memories, we offer each child under 18 a 50% discount when accompanied by one full-paying adult on a 1:1 ratio. Mile for mile into the wilderness and fish for fish; this is the best value for a fly-in Manitoba fishing lodge in Canada.

Besides, it’s time for a break from any modern-day distractions (i.e., mobile devices) and go fishing. So call us today and book a memory.

Catch and Release

Cobham River Lodge has always been a staunch supporter of sustainable fishing practices. We’ve proudly been a part of High-Quality-Management from the very beginning. This commitment means we’ve adopted even stricter catch-and-release policies than what’s mandated. In fact, for over three decades, we’ve ensured that Northern Pike remains in their natural habitat, and all trophy catches are released. This dedication leads to bigger and healthier fish each year.
