How long does it take to reach the fishing grounds?
The boats are only a stone’s throw away from the lodge so you can be fishing within 10 minutes, but if you want to venture to the outer edges of the system it will take approx. 45 minutes.
What fish will I catch?
Big angry Northern Pike are the main focus of a trip to Cobham River Lodge, but good quality Walleye, Perch and White Fish can also be caught.
How many fish will I catch?

How do they fish?
For lure fishing: Spoons (Large Doctor, Johnson Weedless, Red Eye, Dare Devil, etc.), Jerk Baits (Suick, Poe’s), Spinner Baits and Crank Baits (Cisco, Rattle Trap) work best for Northern Pike fishing.
For fly fishing: 9/10# rods are used with either floating or intermediate lines, large streamer patterns or surface flies can really help make each and every take one to remember.
