Manitoba Canada Spring Trophy Pike Fishing - Cobham River Lodge

Cobham River Fishing Report – June 6 2022

By Published On: June 6th, 2022

We are pleased to report that Cobham River Lodge’s first trip of the season has been productive! There seems to be a bit more action for northern pike fishing in the morning at all of our favorite hot spots. Interlake has proven to be the steadiest mid-morning so far.

The West River fishing grounds have been a bit on the quiet side in the afternoons, but there is still decent action to be had on the sandy points.

Most of the spring walleye coming back to the dock have been barbecue size; from the high-teens to the low 20-inch range. The largest pike released so far this trip have been 45 inches. The pike are hitting hard and we are expecting 45 inches to be broken before weeks end.

If you are seeking delicious Canadian walleye to fill your fish box, the point just 200 yards from our dock has been producing some nice ones right around 20-inch mark. Just perfect!

Hope to see you at Cobham River Lodge this summer
