Cobham River’s first two first trips of the season saw some fantastic pike fishing, and that pace continues to hold this week much to the delight of our guests! We have had several trophy pike released so far this trip with three fish hitting 46+ inches, the biggest of these being a nice 48-inch northern pike.
Fishing on the cut has recently been a great starting point. Many boats opted to move north to eagle island after guests found bait hanging off the reef there. Double headers were the norm along with sore arms and smiling faces! This morning some boats have decided to head east, as winds are low and the narrows has yet to be explored. I will keep you posted on that adventure!

It is shaping up to be one of the best seasons ever here at the lodge and the Cobham crew can’t wait for you to join us.
Take care and tight lines!
