Fishing Report – June 13, 2019

After a good stretch of Southerly weather and persistent rain, the sun has come out and we’re experiencing some great conditions to be out on the water hooking into those hard fighting Northern Pike.

Yesterday provided a lot of action for most anglers, with some boats reporting encounters with 120 fish or more.

Bill Schneider had a great day, landing a 109cm (43 inch) Northern Pike, and today Jeff Harkins boated a gorgeous 111cm (44 inch) Northern Pike before lunch.

The Northern Pike are lurking in virtually every area we fish here on the Cobham. Some great fish have been boated in the last few days and some have outfought our anglers and won their freedom.

That’s it for now from Cobham River Lodge. All the best and keep that tip up!
