Cobham River Lodge
Fishing Report – July 8, 2019

Cobham East first narrows to the “S” curve have been excellent for pike numbers. A bonus with fishing East of the lodge is a solid fishery for walleye. A very tasty treat!
The inner lakes have been the place to find some of the larger pike though and anglers putting in some time have been finding pike on the straits leading into Elliot Lake.
With the start of July our northern pike fishing is really heating up. Lots of great fish have been hitting the line as well as anglers experiencing mammoth days battling and releasing large numbers of these tough fighting pike.

If you’re heading our way don’t forget your camera! Numerous eagles have been spotted in various locations, and a few moose have been spotted well East of the lodge.
All in all, it doesn’t get much better than what we’re experiencing here at Cobham River Lodge. We are looking forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks, our staff are ready to meet you and welcome you home!
Until then, Take care and tight lines!
