Cobham River Fishing Report – July 25 2022
It’s looking like some bigger pike have started to move in ahead of their anticipated “Hogust” arrival. We have had 9 45-inch northern pike released recently, making this one of the strongest weeks for big pike so far this season!

We are still finding all kinds of walleye at the point. This super convenient spot is only minutes away from the Lodge and has provided us with plenty of highly sought-after shore lunch walleyes. The bigger Walleye have generally been coming in from all over the map, but west river points have proven most consistent. Great spots for targeting walleye.
Our week was filled with mixed weather conditions. To start we saw sunny skies and moderate northwest winds but they quickly veered to the south which brought us some damper fishing conditions. The forecast ahead is looking very similar and we are looking forward to another week of comfortable fishing.
The last remaining 2022 spots at Cobham River are filled and just in time as we head into August [or “Hogust” as we like to call it!]. If you are interested in booking your trip of a lifetime, there’s no better time to give us a call. If your fishing adventure is already reserved, you had better start counting down the days… we eagerly await your arrival!
Tight Lines, see you soon!
